When we’ve lost our sense of fun and we're down in the dumps we might not feel worthy of joy but this little angel reminds us to lighten up and have some fun. We all have super powers and we're all awesome, there are just times when we lose sight of our greatness. There's usually a clue to our talents in what brings us the most joy. So remember all those times you've achieved more than you thought was possible? Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world. Spread your wings and fly!
 
The energy of carnelian always reminds me of an excited child, full of the joys of life, excited and hungry to explore. It brings cheer and a sense of hopefulness. Carnelian increases drive, helping us to strive for more and step forward with confidence and ease trusting that life is good and only gives us as much as we can manage. The Romans used carnelian to make ring insignia's and it was traditionally known as the 'blood of the earth'. This association suggests a supportive flow, like the flow of divine light we know runs through our lives yet we lose sight of when we're knocked off track by trauma and misfortune.
 
Citrine is the ultimate upliftment gemstone and offers to lighten our moods and encourage us to 'go lightly' on ourselves. Sometimes we are our own worst critics and citrine reminds us to look on the brightside and step out of negative judgement of ourselves. Citrine attracts good fortune and abundance and prosperity.
